Komm:Transform

CleanTech startups develop a variety of solutions for the energy transition. However, collaboration with municipalities is surprisingly uncommon, due to a lack of experience and established structures. Komm:Transform develops these structures, thereby enabling the scaling of CleanTech innovations for the local energy transition.
First, we connected 50 CleanTech startups in online workshops with municipal stakeholders such as public utilities, welfare organizations, and climate managers. This allowed them to exchange ideas on opportunities and challenges. Selected municipalities, as well as institutions like Diakonie, are now becoming “Transformers”. Here, CleanTech startups are developing tailored solutions for the energy transition with local stakeholders. Through joint workshops, campaigns, and implementations, complexity becomes manageable, and synergies become possible. This creates momentum that motivates citizens and businesses to participate.
We are implementing Komm:Transform with Endeva and Climate Tech Hub Berlin. Our program is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy through the “nachhaltig wirken” program, implemented by Ibykus.
