MiT Tutzing

What for?

Can transition start locally and grow steadily, bottom-up? We sought an answer to the question of “whether” in Tutzing in autumn 2024. Since then, 20 co-creators have been exploring the “how” with us locally. MiTeinander in die Transition (MiT) – Together into transition.

How?

Tutzing started as a pilot in autumn 2024. With systemic methods and appreciative guidance, 20 co-creators have founded a citizen energy cooperative, formed a cluster with energy startups, developed concepts for several construction projects that shape the town’s character, created a land-use plan for commercial development potential, designed a positioning strategy for the location, initiated a vision for district development, and launched formats for citizen participation – always in dialogue with the mayor and municipal council.

Who?

20 local co-creators in the two working groups Business and Energy, including the mayor and several municipal council members. Since April 2026, Tutzing has also been a partner in our project Komm:Transform.
