What for?

If cities like Munich want to achieve their climate goals, homes, businesses, and transportation must reduce emissions. Investments in these areas are not always immediately profitable, which hinders progress.

How?

We are exploring ideas and opportunities with project stakeholders and financiers to facilitate the financing of climate measures through a dedicated facility – by optimizing projects and by developing and combining new financing methods.

Who?

Together with the client, the City of Munich (Department for Climate and Environment), and the Transformation Finance Lab at TU Munich. Funded by Climate KIC.
